Basanta Panchami, is a Hindu festival that marks the arrival of spring as Nepal is the country with the majority people following Hinduism and it is one of the remarkable occasion to celebrate from the cultural aspect too. It is celebrated on the fifth day (Panchami) of the bright half of the Hindu month of Magha with the end of winter and to welcome the spring season, which typically falls in late January or early February. The day fell on 14th February on the year 2024 AD. The festival is dedicated to the goddess Saraswati, who is the Hindu goddess of knowledge, wisdom, music, and art.

The school was decorated and elaborated for the especial day with art-crafts, goddess Saraswoti photo, balloons and many more. At 7:30 on the early morning of the day the worshipping program started where the students and guardians came to worship the Goddess with great enthusiasm and received Tika and Prasad (offering). The locals and the school management committee members were invited to have Prasad. The day also holds the special role for enrolling small children at free of cost and conducting “Akshyararambha” program which literally means “beginning to write” for the toddlers for their start on the journey of knowledge and education. It is believed that the beginning of education from the very day is auspicious.
